Training Introduction
Local governments are at the frontline of service
delivery, community development, and participatory governance. As
decentralization reforms spread globally, the role of local authorities has
become more complex, requiring strong managerial capacity, effective resource
utilization, and citizen-oriented governance.
The Certificate in Local Governance &
Management provides foundational and practical knowledge on how local
governments operate, how services are delivered, how resources are managed, and
how leadership can create stronger, more accountable institutions. Participants
