TRAINING INTRODUCTION

Project Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is a systematic process of collecting, analyzing, and using information to track project performance and measure the achievement of results. Effective M&E ensures that projects are on course, delivering value, and contributing to broader goals. It also supports evidence-based decision-making, accountability to stakeholders, and continuous learning.

Module 4: Logical Framework Approach (LFA)

• Designing a LogFrame matrix
• Using the LogFrame for planning and M&E

Module 5: Developing an M&E Framework

• Components of an M&E framework
• M&E matrix: indicators, data sources, frequency, responsibility

Module 6: Indicator Development and Performance Measurement

• Types of indicators (input, output, outcome, impact)
• Developing SMART indicators

Module 7: Baseline Studies and Target Setting
