Results-Based Project Management (RBPM)
TRAINING
INTRODUCTION
In today’s development and organizational
landscape, Results-Based Project Management (RBPM) is critical for
ensuring that projects are not only implemented efficiently but also deliver measurable
and meaningful results. RBPM goes beyond traditional activity-focused
management to emphasize outputs, outcomes, and long-term impacts,
aligning project processes with broader development goals.
This training program is designed to equip project
professionals, managers, and development practitioners with the tools,
frameworks, and mindset to design, plan, implement, and evaluate projects
based on measurable results. It aligns with international standards,
including those of the UN, World Bank, and major donor agencies, and provides
hands-on practice with results frameworks, logical frameworks, and performance
monitoring tools.
LEARNING
OBJECTIVES
By the end of this training, participants will be
able to:
- Understand
the concepts and principles of Results-Based Project Management

measurable indicators and monitor project performance
- Use
evidence to make informed decisions and improve performance
- Prepare
and present results-based reports to stakeholders and donors
- Foster
learning and accountability through results-based approaches
