TRAINING INTRODUCTION

Effective Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) begins well before a project is implemented. The Project Preparatory Monitoring and Evaluation (PPME) phase is critical for setting a strong foundation to ensure project success. It involves designing and integrating M&E tools, systems, indicators, baselines, and stakeholder input during the project planning and design stage, before actual execution begins.

This training equips participants with the skills to embed M&E frameworks, tools, and strategies during the project preparation phase to enhance effectiveness, improve resource allocation, and ensure alignment with donor and stakeholder expectations. It emphasizes results-based management, participatory approaches, and the development of M&E components within feasibility studies, project design, and proposal development.

Module 6: Indicator Development and Target Setting

ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION
