1. Introduction

Gender equality is both a fundamental human right and a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world. Addressing gender issues is vital to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in eradicating poverty, promoting inclusive economic growth, and fostering social justice.

This training programme equips participants with the tools, frameworks, and strategies to analyse, integrate, and implement gender-responsive approaches in development policies, programmes, and community interventions aimed at poverty reduction and sustainable development.
