Introduction
Gender mainstreaming in public service management
is a strategic approach to ensure that gender perspectives and gender
equality objectives are central to all activities—policy development,
service delivery, budgeting, and staffing—within the public sector.
This training course aims to build the institutional
capacity of public servants, managers, and policymakers to integrate gender
effectively into systems, structures, and everyday operations of government
institutions. Participants will learn practical tools and approaches to mainstream
gender into planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation within the
public service.
