1. Introduction

Social protection is a cornerstone of inclusive development, poverty reduction, and resilience building. As countries strive to strengthen their social safety nets, an advanced understanding of integrated, rights-based, and financially sustainable social protection systems becomes essential.

This course is designed for professionals and policymakers who are actively involved in the design, implementation, reform, or oversight of social protection programs. It builds on foundational knowledge and emphasizes strategic, cross-sectoral, and evidence-based approaches to social protection systems.

• Passing a proctored final exam
