1. Introduction
Municipal waste is one of the fastest-growing
environmental challenges worldwide, especially in rapidly urbanizing areas.
Improper waste management contributes to public health hazards, environmental
pollution, and economic inefficiencies.
This training program provides comprehensive
knowledge and practical tools for the planning, implementation, monitoring,
and evaluation of effective and sustainable municipal solid waste management
(MSWM) systems. It covers modern waste management practices, community engagement
strategies, legal frameworks, and innovative technologies to address urban
waste challenges.

By the end of this course, participants will be
