Water Quality Management and Effluent Treatment
(Technical and Regulatory Capacity-Building Course)
1. Introduction
Water is a critical resource for life, health,
ecosystems, and industry. However, increasing pollution from domestic,
industrial, and agricultural sources poses significant risks to water quality
and public health. This training program focuses on managing water quality and
treating effluents to meet regulatory and environmental standards. It combines
theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and regulatory awareness to build
participants’ capacity in safeguarding water resources.

By the end of this training, participants will be

Awarded upon:
- Passing
a final assessment (written and/or practical)
- Submission
of a water quality improvement plan or ETP project
- Demonstrating
ability to apply learning in real-world settings
Certificates may be co-issued with environmental
regulatory bodies, water utilities, universities, or international development
partners.
