Environmental and International Health
(Professional Capacity Development Course)
1.
Introduction
Environmental and international health examines how
environmental factors and global health systems impact public health,
particularly in a globalized world. Issues such as pollution, climate change,
water quality, vector-borne diseases, and global health governance are crucial
to the well-being of populations, especially in developing and transitional
economies.
This training equips participants with knowledge
and tools to analyze environmental health risks, understand international
health systems, and implement effective policies and interventions at both
local and global levels.
